Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative. But it includes influences like punk, hip-hop, and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement being one of the pioneers to establish her own record label in 1990. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco.
