She shared a home with Pamela Adlon after moving to Laurel Canyon Los Angeles. Gunn was most well-known for her character Skyler in AMC's Breaking drama. She was nominated in 2013 and in 2014 in the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding supporting actress in a drama series due to her portrayals. The New York Times published an article in August of 2013 in which they discussed the negativity of the public's perception of her role.
